Recipes

We’ve compiled some tips to ensure that you have the best Unapologetically African experience.

Aphro can be enjoyed as:

* Shots or Shooters     * Neat or on ‘rocks’      * With mixers     *Within cocktails      * In your beer (For our beer lovers)

SHOTS

This is for the OGs who prefer to savor their spirits in their raw undiluted form. Rules are boring. We encourage enjoying Aphro YOUR WAY, however, you can also try it…our way.

To have the best Nubi shot experience, we advise you to freeze the bottle, so it goes down smooth with a caramel-like taste. You can as well SHAKE on ice for a less strong kick.

The Moor can be frozen or served on ice too! Note: The Moor is naturally HOT even when cold/ frozen. For the best Moor experience, try this carefully curated serving suggestion from our in-house mixologist.

* Six shots/tubes     * Top-up with 2-5ml of syrup (preferably passion fruit or vanilla) in shot glass or syringe (to serve as a dispenser)      * Serve with chunks of pineapple on the side (optional).

MIXERS

For each of our variants, we have the best selection of mixers that pair smoothly with our Palm Spirit.

The Nubi:   Ginger beer, Pineapple juice, Apple juice, Sobolo juice & Elderflower tonic.

The Moor:   Pineapple juice, Apple juice, Sobolo & Vanilla (optional)

BEER

Over here at Aphro, we are heavy on inclusion. For the beer lovers who still want to have the Aphro experience without having to worry about not having your favorite beer…Guess what? The Aphro Beer Bomb was carefully made with YOU in mind.

DIY:

Drop a shot of Aphro in a glass of your favorite beer and you’re good to go. Add vanilla syrup to the Moor for a little extra kick (optional) and VIOLA!
